RESULTS:
This year we had about 1/2 the size group of men
& women players as last year, approximately 12
players, about 3/4 ladies. Kelli King, Randolph County Senior Games
Coordinator did a wonderful job organizing our Checker Games. She did a great job planning and directing
a fun checker tournament. We played on nice wooden checkerboards and pieces
furnished by the Randolph Co. Senior Games Tournament. JR Smith (age 74)
and Jim Jones (69), were
participants who won their age group. So we lost Morris Auman
(79) on 1/14/2019 but we discovered Jim Jones and looking forward to seeing Jim
at our checker events.
